Senior Design Assistant – Masterplanning – Maidstone

 

Are you an experienced professional in Masterplanning looking for the next step in your career? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

 

My client, a well-established and growing practice, is currently expanding and seeking an enthusiastic Senior Design Assistant – Masterplanning to join their dynamic team.

 

About the Role:

 

As a Senior Design Assistant – Masterplanning, you will play a key role in developing masterplanning schemes.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site visits and gathering data to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create and deliver urban planning and design projects.
  • Utilising CAD software to develop high-quality design solutions.
  • Contributing to urban design and planning strategies to shape sustainable and vibrant spaces.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning application documents and support materials

 

Requirements:

  • RIBA Part 1 or Part 2 qualification in Architecture or Urban Planning (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software, ideally AutoCAD or Revit, as well as Photoshop and other architectural or urban planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of urban design and planning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in masterplanning and urban design projects is highly desirable.
